Katrina Kaif, Parineeti Chopra and Yami Gautam’s ethnic looks are pure festive fashion goals

Diwali is around the corner and if our favourite B-town fashionistas’recent appearances are anything to go by, then they are giving us major festive fashion goals. Parineeti Chopra, Yami Gautam and Katrina Kaif’s latest outfits show us exactly how to strike a perfect balance between traditional and trendy.
Chopra is busy promoting her upcoming movie Golmaal Again and her fashion choices are something we are going gaga over. Recently, the gorgeous diva made an appearance wearing a beautiful ethnic dress by designer Anita Dongre. Styled by celebrity stylist Sanjana Batra, the intricately embroidered dress was clinched at the waist that perfectly accentuated her waist. She paired it with golden strappy heels from Steve Madden. Makeup artist Arti Nayar gave her a minimal make-up look with smokey eyes whereas hairstylist Gohar Shaikh kept it simple with side parted hair.

AIFW SS 2018: Milind Soman introduces India’s first ‘running sari’ in his collection

Milind Soman returned to the ramp after a gap of six years at the Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW). The 51 year-old-year showcased the athleisure collection of his active lifestyle brand, Deivee, that he founded in collaboration with Delhi-based designer Nida Mahmood.
For her collection, Mahmood derived inspiration from Indian women and India’s rich culture, bright colours and traditional textiles. The comfortable silhouettes were designed keeping in mind that it can be worn anywhere, be it a dance floor or a treadmill. The collection is said to have been made using 100 per cent recycled plastic bottles. Paying tribute to Soman’s mother Usha Soman, who matched her son’s steps, and ran barefoot at a marathon — in a sari, the athleisure collection included a running sari. A first of its kind, the design made sure it could be worn across women of all ages and sizes.

Priyanka Chopra’s boring black-and-white Michael Kors dress is quite a let down

Priyanka Chopra has a penchant for leaving onlookers in awe with her risque fashion choices — be it in India or in the West! The 35-year-old, more often than not, manages to hit the right note with her red carpet appearances and promotional style files. However, this time around, it seems she missed the boat.
Recently, the actress was awarded for her contribution as a UNICEF ambassador at the annual Power Of Women gala held at Beverly Hills. The Quantico actress turned up in a monochromatic floral ensemble at the event. While she tried her best with smart styling, we think she opted the boring black midi dress from the house of Michael Kors didn’t quite appeal to the eyes.
